Join Worldwide Event Planner Amanda Virga of AMV Weddings, at one of the most iconic and enchanting Chateaus of the South of France for a full day of wedding editorial shoots.

This luxury editorial experience aims to present a select number of attendees with a comprehensive content building experience in order to help you create an inspiring portfolio, develop clarity of aesthetic direction, book more of your ideal clients, and build a profitable and resilient photography business.

The workshop is open to digital, hybrid, and film photographers as well as videographers. On a case by case basis we are also accepting other creatives interested in joining us for the experience.

• 1 high-end, luxury full wedding editorial shoot with a bride & groom model couple featuring a ceremony, reception, flat lays, details, and cake

Located in the Provence countryside, in the heart of a magnificent park of 35 hectares, including a classified wooded area, Chateau Martinay offers a sensory experience combining enjoyment, inspiration and a certain idea of the Provence peaceful art-de-vivre. Lavender Field Shoot (optional)

After our workshop at Chateau Martinay, our participants will have the option to travel to the Lavender Fields of Valensole for additional capsule shoot the following day at sunset! To complete your stay in France, join us in one of the most romantic locations in the world for a fashion oriented capsule shoot with a bride & groom model couple and fashion oriented capsule shoot with a solo female model during golden hour! Tentative timing for this shoot is 6:30-9:30pm and more details can be found here.

Cost of transport, meals and accommodation are not included.

Amanda Virga

Founder of AMV Retreats, Worldwide Wedding Planner

Amanda Virga is a worldwide wedding planner who has over a decade of experience in the event industry, executing nearly 600 weddings during her career and 20+ successful retreats to date. While based between NYC and London, she has also worked on weddings across the globe, over 4 continents from Spain and Tuscany to Thailand and Bali. Her approach is unique, not only does she have a passion for creating flawless events but she is also committed to creating +aluable experiences that bring industry professionals together, collaborating with some of the best in the industry, and designing breathtaking editorial projects. Her weddings and editorial work have been featured on Good Morning America, Vogue, BRIDES, Style Me Pretty, WedLuxe, The Knot, Junebug, Wedding Chicks, and more.

Amanda is an avid traveler having visited 65 countries, she also spent an entire year traveling the world in 2018 while immersing herself into the wedding industry in each of her destinations. Her adventurous and worldly spirit is what inspired the creation of AMV retreats, a one of a kind experience connecting wedding creatives across the globe. When not traveling or planning events, she is usually found snuggling up with her chihuahua, enjoying a glass of prosecco or practicing yoga. She is a firm believer that achieving a good life balance is the ultimate key to success.

HOW WILL THE SHOOT WORK?

The editorials will be designed to feature luxury brands, over the top florals, and professional models. The shoot will be split into 3 groups that will work in shifts with the models, to ensure a small group atmosphere, a very smooth shooting process, and maximum opportunities for a comprehensive gallery.

WILL I BE ABLE TO SUBMIT THE SHOOTS TO BLOGS?

Absolutely, you are free to submit wherever you’d like and there is no publication delay or restrictions in place for this shoot. Our attendees have been featured in endless publications including Vogue, Style Me Pretty, WedLuxe, Wedding Chicks and many more.


DO I NEED TO BE A FILM OR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER TO ATTEND?

Both digital and film photographers are welcome at this workshop, as well as filmmakers!

ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS TO CONSIDER?

This editorial investment is based on the shoot only with no other travel, accommodation, or meals included. However we will connect attendees in Facebook group in coordinate travel together if desired. Chateau Martinay is 1 hour from Marseille (MRS) Airport & 30 minutes from Avignon Train Station, making it very convenient to reach by train or car.

*Please note, this is a content based experience which will differ from our standard retreats which offer a more comprehensive event featuring education and networking. The focus of these shoots is the location, fashion and models - there will be no floral installations, only bouquets.
