What are AMV RETREATS?
Our Retreats - much more than just styled shoots - are a thriving community, a safe space for creativity to flourish, and growth to happen. We limit participants to between 15 to 20, because this allows us to allocate our resources efficiently to providing the best possible:
· Overall experience
· Production Value
· Long-standing community building.
These are the three pillars that have made our Retreats a model for new retreats all over the world.
DO I NEED TO BE A FILM OR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER TO ATTEND?
Both digital and film photographers are welcome at this workshop! Our host photographers specialize in both mediums! Techniques & topics on both digital and film will be covered.
HOW WILL THE STYLED SHOOTS WORK?
The styled shoots will be designed with over-the-top floral installations, featuring luxury brands and professional bride & groom models. The shoots will be split into 3 groups that will work in shifts with the models, and each set-up to ensure a small group atmosphere with one-on-one attention and a very smooth shooting process. The host photographers will be available during the shoots to guide you and assist with techniques/ hands on learning.
WILL I BE ABLE TO SUBMIT THE SHOOTS TO BLOGS?
Absolutely. We will provide you with tips and best practice guidelines to help you get published. As is standard practice, you will be requested to allow a 4-week head-start to the hosts so that they submit to blogs first.
HOW ARE PAYMENTS SET UP?
Generally, our payments are set up in 4 installments spread out from the time of booking until the retreat date, however we are very flexible with payment plans!
ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS I NEED TO CONSIDER?
The only costs not included are your flight & airport transport, however the accommodation and meals for the duration of the Retreat are included.
We are also available to help arrange transport upon request. Everything else is all inclusive from day 1 of the Retreat until your departure.
IS THERE A REDUCED COST FOR A ROOM SHARE?
The pricing is based on a single occupancy room, but we do have special rates for partners and room shares if you plan on traveling with a colleague. Please inquire directly for more information.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY?
Once you confirm your spot with a deposit, all payments are nonrefundable. However given an extenuating circumstance we are flexible to shift your payments to a new retreat with enough notice to fill the spot.
ARE PLUS ONES ALLOWED?
We always welcome plus ones on our retreat so you can experience the beautiful countries our Retreats take place in, with your loved ones and possibly extend your trip to include further travel in the region! There are reduced rates available for your guest to join us for just the accommodation and meal portion of the retreat. Please inquire directly for more information.
