Join Amanda Virga of AMV Weddings, an internationally renowned event planner, at a breathtaking cliffside villa in Santorini to capture one of the world’s most iconic sunsets in an unforgettable wedding editorial shoot.
This luxury editorial experience aims to present a select number of attendees with a comprehensive content building experience in order to help you create an inspiring portfolio, develop clarity of aesthetic direction, book more of your ideal clients, and build a profitable and resilient photography business.
The workshop is open to digital, hybrid, and film photographers as well as videographers. On a case by case basis we are also accepting other creatives interested in joining us for the experience.

What’s Included
• Intro Presentation/Meet & Greet
• 1 high-end, luxury full wedding editorial shoot with a bride & groom model couple featuring getting ready, ceremony, reception, portraits, flat lays, details, cake, and two different bridal looks. We will also have the attendees and suppliers dress up and sit in for key "guest shots”.
• A capsule shoot portrait based session with a different bride & groom model couple, featuring two different bridal looks
• A full day of portfolio building and networking experiences
• Light Snacks & Soft Drinks

Oia Elopement Shoot (optional)
THURSDAy May 14, 2026Additional Fee: $950After our editorial shoot at Erosantorini, our participants will have the option to travel to the iconic village of Oia for an additional capsule shoot the following morning! To complete your stay in Santorini, join us in one of the most picturesque destinations in the world for a luxurious shoot with a bride & groom model couple, a stunning floral bouquet and chic elopement style bridal look.
Tentative timing for this shoot is 8:30am–11:30am
Cost of meals, transport, and accommodation are not included.

Amanda Virga
Founder of AMV Retreats, Worldwide Wedding PlannerAmanda Virga is a worldwide wedding planner who has over a decade of experience in the event industry, executing nearly 600 weddings during her career and 20+ successful retreats to date. While based in the South of France, she has also worked on weddings across the globe, over 4 continents from Spain and Tuscany to Thailand and Bali. Her approach is unique, not only does she have a passion for creating flawless events but she is also committed to creating invaluable experiences that bring industry professionals together, collaborating with some of the best in the industry, and designing breathtaking editorial projects. Her weddings and editorial work have been featured on Good Morning America, Vogue, BRIDES, Style Me Pretty, WedLuxe, The Knot, Junebug, Wedding Chicks, and more.
Amanda is an avid traveler having visited 65 countries, she also spent an entire year traveling the world in 2018 while immersing herself into the wedding industry in each of her destinations. Her adventurous and worldly spirit is what inspired the creation of AMV retreats, a one of a kind experience connecting wedding creatives across the globe. When not traveling or planning events, she is usually found snuggling up with her chihuahua, enjoying a glass of prosecco or practicing yoga. She is a firm believer that achieving a good life balance is the ultimate key to success.
Frequently Asked Questions
DO I NEED TO BE A FILM OR DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHER TO ATTEND?
Both digital and film photographers are welcome at this workshop, as well as filmmakers! On a case by case basis we also allow planners and content creators to join us!
ARE THERE ANY OTHER COSTS TO CONSIDER?
This editorial investment is based on the shoot only with no other travel, accommodation, or meals included. However we will connect attendees in Facebook group in coordinate travel together if desired. The villa is just under 30 minutes from the central tourist town of Oia. Depending on demand we will offer optional roundtrip transport from central Oia to/from the shoot for extra convenience.
HOW WILL THE SHOOT WORK?
The editorials will be designed to feature luxury brands, over the top florals, and professional models. The shoot will be split into 3 groups that will work in shifts with the models, to ensure a small group atmosphere, a very smooth shooting process, and maximum opportunities for a comprehensive gallery.
WILL I BE ABLE TO SUBMIT THE SHOOTS TO BLOGS?
Absolutely, you are free to submit wherever you’d like and there is no publication delay or restrictions in place for this shoot. Our attendees have been featured in endless publications including Vogue, Style Me Pretty, WedLuxe, Wedding Chicks and many more.
